Identified as the Forest of Brocéliande, the state-owned Paimpont forest, covering some 11,000 hectares, is open to the public who are welcome to explore its marked trails from 1 April to 30 September. Outside this period, some paths may be closed. For more information, contact Brocéliande Tourism Office in Paimpont. Visit the Valley of No Return, the Fairies' Mirror pond, the Golden Tree, the Fountain of Barenton and Merlin’s tomb as you explore this gorgeous forest. The heritage site of Les Forges de Paimpont, a former industrial site from the 17th to the 20th century, is also close to this legendary forest.
